A young child should be dreaming of adventures with friends...not when or if they will get another meal. In this short piece my goal was to capture the thoughts and emotions of a child suffering from hunger without using any words. This film takes place in a rural town in South Africa where many children like this one suffer from malnutrition due to lack of food. This needs to end.
